On Monday, NBA player Jason Collins announced he’s gay. Carolyn Moos, a former WNBA player who dated him for 8 years, tells CNN’s Piers Morgan the announcement is “a lot to process”:

Anderson Cooper: “The Fact Is, I’m Gay”

75px AndersonCooper07 Anderson Cooper: The Fact Is, Im GayA couple of years ago, a friend swore to me that the CNN’s Anderson Cooper was gay. And that it was a matter of time before he came out. I argued that Cooper would be gay only after he’d publicly confirmed that he was gay. The essence of the conversation is that my friend I wanted the TV host and reporter to say it. It bothered us that his journalism revealed very little about his personal life. But now that he’s come out, it should matter to us all.

For Iran, A Generic U.S. Drone

Apparently, Iranian military engineers have successfully decoded America’s captured reconnaissance drone. And now Tehran intends to build a copy. The Islamic Republic’s military captured the US RQ-170 Sentinel reconnaisance aircraft last December.

Dick Chenney is not going to like this. I imagine him snarling screaming: What did I tell you Barack Obama? What did I tell you? According to Think Progress, soon after the capture, he told CNN:

“The right response to that would have been to go in immediately after it had gone down and destroy it. You can do that from the air. You can do that with a quick airstrike, and in effect make it impossible for them to benefit from having captured that drone.”

I wonder how the Iranians would have reacted to a “quick airstrike” by the US.

And, could this latest development become the perfect excuse to attack Iran?
