Canada's House of Commons
I expected Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s cabinet reshuffle to trim down government and bring Canada to par with other democracies. But Harper increased the ministries from 38 to 39, making the Conservative cabinet the second largest in Canadian history, and largest in the democratic world.
Why did Stephen Harper’s cabinet renovation stay Jason Kenney as Citizenship and Immigration minister? I thought Kenney was due for promotion. He helped the Conservatives wrestle the ethnic vote away from the Liberals during the May 2 Federal election, especially in immigrant-rich Toronto.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is no friend of Canadian women. His new cabinet betrays both his chronic “women problem” and reluctance to put a progressive face on Ottawa.
