Barack Obama took the ceremonial oath of office on Monday for his second term as President of the Unites States. Throughout his historic Inaugural Address, Obama repudiated the right-wing agenda. He urged Americans to cooperate on immigration reform, poverty, climate change, gay rights, economic inequality & other progressive issues. To emphasize this call collective action, Obama used the phrase “We, the people”, which is part of the U.S. Constitution’s preamble, five times.
