The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur On Obama’s “Kill List” (VIDEO)

The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down President Obama‘s “Kill List” of terrorists targeted for assassination through drone attacks. Obama approves every name on the Kill List. He reviews the bios and the evidence against them. And then he authorizes “lethal action without hand-wringing.” Without due process.

The video carries a petition started by by David Sirota on the official White House website. Sirota argues:

The New York Times reports that President Obama has created an official “kill list” that he uses to personally order the assassination of American citizens. Considering that the government already has a “Do Not Call” list and a “No Fly” list, we hereby request that the White House create a “Do Not Kill” list in which American citizens can sign up to avoid being put on the president’s “kill list” and therefore avoid being executed without indictment, judge, jury, trial or due process of law.

But don’t expect to sign the petition. At least not any time soon. The petition is currently inaccessible, and the White House says: Our Apologies. This Section of our site is currently undergoing maintenance. We appreciate your patience while we make some improvements. Please check back shortly.”
