Today I felt really sick. And this is the first time I’ve felt this sick since I started the indefinite hunger protest against Stephen Harper’s cruel crime Bill C-10 on March 24.

For over a week now, I’ve been experiencing severe chest pains.

Earlier, I walked to the Loblaws supermarket, about kilometer from my apartment. It must have taken me an hour to get there. But the generous Ottawa sun was a relief; I spent too much time indoors.

At the supermarket, I began to feel so dizzy and weak. The persistent back ache, headache and pains in the joins and muscles didn’t really help the situation. Had to sit down and try to recuperate.

I continued to feel sick and, in a bit of a panic, called a couple of friends. One of them came within 45 minutes and helped me back home. Two other friends came over and stayed until 11.30pm.

As I write, it’s now four hours since the incident. I’m well rested and feel much better.
